Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an educational setting near Lynn, MA. This contract role is designed to help manage the current speech therapy caseload, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills while working closely with seasoned professionals. In this position, you'll work 14 hours each week across two days, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the full school year. You will collaborate with the primary SLP, supporting individualized education plans (IEPs) and contributing to a positive learning environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Current licensure or certification as an SLPA or SLP (state requirements apply) Experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy settings is a plus Comfort with IEP documentation and school protocols Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach Passion for helping children reach their full potential
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with speech and language interventions under the guidance of the lead SLP Work with students individually or in small groups to support their IEP goals Document student progress and maintain organized records Participate in team meetings and contribute insights as needed Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all learners This unique, part-time schedule provides a great balance for those seeking flexibility and the satisfaction of supporting school-based therapy services.
