In this contract-based role near Lapeer, MI, youll work closely with a remote SLP from VocoVision, providing hands-on assistance that ensures every session runs smoothly and efficiently. Your daily responsibilities will involve facilitating 1:1 support during virtual speech and language sessions, helping students engage fully in these critical learning opportunities. Youll be a key ally to both students and therapistsbringing students to their scheduled sessions, gathering necessary materials, and seamlessly returning them to their classrooms.

Desired Qualifications:

Some experience as a paraprofessional or in a related educational support role Comfort with technology and virtual learning platforms Ability to communicate effectively with both students and staff Strong sense of reliability and responsibility for student safety and engagement Collaborative team spirit and willingness to adapt to classroom and therapy needs

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to students during VocoVision SLP sessions Assist students in transitioning to and from therapy sessions Prepare and gather required session materials ahead of time Monitor student participation and provide supervision as needed Foster a supportive, organized, and positive learning environment This position offers a consistent weekly schedule of approximately 3035 hours across one or two sites, depending on specific needs.
