Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with infants to 18 years of age, to improve their speech and language abilities. Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills
• Collaborate with therapy team members to develop integrated treatment plans
• Educate patients and their families on strategies for improving communication skills
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

• Experience working with diverse patient populations, including a variety of pediatric diagnoses
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and oupatient care practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
