Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Join a welcoming school environment near Port Matilda, PA, where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will make a meaningful impact. In this engaging contract opportunity, you'll work closely with a Tele SLP, collaborating as professionals to serve a diverse student population across three different buildings—elementary, middle, and high school. Within a supportive community, you'll help deliver quality therapy to students at various learning stages.
What You'll Bring:
Current SLPA certification and the ability to provide documentation Experience or comfort working with school-aged children in group and individual formats Solid interpersonal skills for partnering with both onsite and remote SLPs Flexibility to manage a caseload of 41 students, with the ability to adapt to changes Organizational strength to manage a schedule of 55 weekly 30-minute treatment sessions (16 individual, 37 group) Strong communication skills for collaborating with school staff and families
Your Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students as assigned by supervising SLP Maintain accurate records of student progress and session notes Support individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the Tele SLP Travel between elementary, middle, and high school buildings as needed Foster a welcoming and supportive environment in all interactions with students This rewarding contract offers a consistent 35-hour workweek, allowing you to build meaningful student relationships while collaborating with dedicated professionals.
