Currently seeking four skilled professionals to assist students across various schools within the district, ensuring they receive the support necessary to excel academically and personally. This is a contract position running through June 2027, with full-time, onsite weekday hours. Your exact school assignment will depend on district needs, with potential placements ranging from elementary to high school and specialized programs supporting students with autism and emotional needs. Flexibility and adaptability are key in this rewarding, student-centered role. Qualifications & Experience Experience as a paraprofessional or personal care aide, preferably in a school setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to support students with varying needs and foster a positive classroom environment Hold or be willing to obtain required Pennsylvania credentialing (including Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance, Act 114 FBI Fingerprinting, Act 126 Training, Act 168 paperwork, PA State Police check, required TB testing, and drug screening) Physical exam completed within 60 days of start date Preference may be given to those with significant experience as a PCA Key Responsibilities Support students' participation in classroom activities and daily routines Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and therapists Implement individualized plans to assist with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals Maintain confidentiality and a caring, professional demeanor at all times Adapt to changing assignments per the districts needs Enjoy making a positive and direct difference in students lives every day.
