Job Description
Make an impact as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a vibrant school-based setting near North Richland Hills, TX. In this full-time contract opportunity, your commitment to helping children grow their speech, language, and communication skills will support academic achievement and enrich daily student interactions. Work closely under the supervision of an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) while making a meaningful difference in students' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, following intervention plans designed by the supervising SLP Collect, document, and organize accurate data and progress notes from therapy sessions Participate in speech, language, and hearing screenings under SLP guidance Prepare therapy materials and assist with classroom-based interventions Keep thorough, confidential student records in accordance with legal and district requirements Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to foster student success Support IEP implementation activities as directed Maintain professional standards and adhere to all school district policies
Minimum Qualifications:
Current Texas SLPA license from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) Bachelor's degree emphasizing Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field, as required by Texas Completion of all clinical observation and assisting experience required by state Strong ability to work with supervision in a collaborative environment Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills School-based experience is a plus, but not mandatory Bring your compassion and professionalism to a dynamic educational setting, helping young learners reach their full potential.
