Pay:

$30/hr Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Travel Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) to join a busy Ambulatory Surgery Center. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong instrument processing experience in a fast-paced surgical environment. Responsibilities Clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment. Ensure proper sterilization procedures and infection prevention standards are followed. Perform quality checks on trays, instruments, and sterilization equipment. Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization cycles and equipment testing. Support operating room staff by ensuring instruments and supplies are available for scheduled procedures. Follow all regulatory, safety, and departmental policies. Requirements Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing Technician experience required. Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience is required. Previous travel assignment experience required (first-time travelers will not be considered). High School Diploma or GED required. BLS certification required.

HSPA/IAHCSMM

certification preferred. Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques, surgical instrumentation, and infection control standards.
