//youtu.be/09WSV6L3BWk To start or continue your profile: https://app.medcurate.com/ Responsibilities Perform sterilization, decontamination, and reprocessing of surgical instruments and medical devices following strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Assemble, inspect, and package sterile instruments and equipment to ensure they meet quality standards for surgical procedures. Manage inventory levels of sterile supplies and medical instruments, ensuring timely replenishment and accurate documentation. Operate specialized medical equipment used in sterilization processes, including autoclaves and endoscope reprocessors. Maintain detailed records of sterilization cycles, instrument tracking, and quality assurance checks to comply with healthcare regulations. Adhere to infection prevention policies by practicing proper hand hygiene, PPE usage, and environmental cleaning procedures. Assist with endoscope reprocessing, ensuring all devices are thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and stored correctly for safe reuse. Experience Proven experience in sterile processing or central service within a healthcare setting. High School diploma or equivilant Completion of Sterile processing education from an accredited school or training program CRCST or CSPDT required BLS Certification required Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection prevention practices. Familiarity with surgical instrument sterilization, handling procedures, and endoscope reprocessing standards. Ability to operate medical sterilization equipment safely and efficiently.
