Responsibilities Assemble, inspect, and package sterile medical instruments with precision, adhering to strict aseptic techniques Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and sterilizers to ensure all instruments meet regulatory standards Perform decontamination procedures on used surgical tools and equipment, maintaining proper handling protocols Manage inventory levels of sterile supplies, ensuring timely restocking and accurate documentation of medical equipment Reprocess endoscopes and other complex medical devices following manufacturer guidelines and infection control protocols Maintain detailed records of sterilization cycles, instrument tracking, and quality assurance documentation Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure the availability of sterile instruments for procedures Requirements experience in sterile processing, medical instrument assembly, packaging, and sterilization techniques, no experience needed Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to surgical procedures Familiarity with infection prevention management practices and healthcare infection control standards Ability to operate medical equipment sterilization devices safely and effectively Skilled in aseptic technique, endoscope reprocessing, and surgical instrument handling Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management and recordkeeping Certification or training in sterile processing or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Join us in delivering exceptional patient care through your expertise in sterile processing!
