Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our growing orthodontic practice. In this vital role, you will ensure the proper sterilization, decontamination, and handling of dental instruments and equipment used in patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong work ethic and able to perform in a fast paced environment. This is a part time position with 24 hours a week. The hours will be Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays 8am- 4pm. No experience necessary, we will train the right canidate. We are looking for that friendly, positive person to join our fun team! Responsibilities Perform sterilization, decontamination, assembly, and packaging of dental instruments and proper sterilization. Manage inventory levels of sterile supplies, ensuring accurate tracking and restocking to meet clinical demands. Clean and disinfect the clinic after patients are seen. Maintain detailed records of sterilization cycles, instrument tracking, and quality assurance documentation. Adhere to infection prevention protocols by implementing proper sterilization procedures and infection control measures. Conduct routine inspections of sterilization equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate efficient instrument handling and storage while maintaining a sterile environment. Qualifications Familiarity with sterilization methods for dental instruments is a plus but not required. Ability to follow detailed protocols for decontamination, sterilization cycles, and aseptic techniques with precision. Excellent organizational skills for inventory management and recordkeeping. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week
