The Lu-Jean Feng Clinic is seeking an instrument Sterilization Technician! LJFC is a complete Health and Wellness Center, focusing on total patient health, inside and out. We have had patients from 65 different countries and all 50 states! Permanent Part-Time! Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm

Responsibilities:

Supports surgical staff in the Operating Room with cleaning and turnover, including opening sterile supplies Demonstrates understanding on proper handling of equipment, instrumentation, and chemicals Performs spore testing and observes personal protective equipment standards in decontamination process Decontaminates, cleans, inspects and assembles instruments by instrument list, wraps and labels as documented in procedure Monitors and maintains sterile supplies for the surgical team Performs record keeping Other duties as assigned

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent GED required

Certifications:

Sterile Processing Certification required

Work Experience:
