00 The Surg Tech First Assist travel job for 10-hour day shifts lets you play a vital role in orthopedic, general, and robotic surgeries. You will support surgeons by positioning patients, controlling bleeding, handling tissues, and assisting with suturing and wound closure. The facility offers advanced surgical technology and a collaborative operating room environment focused on safety and quality. Required qualifications include completion of an accredited surgical technology or first assist program, an active certification such as Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA), and recent experience assisting in orthopedic, general, and robotic procedures. Proficiency with sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended.
