• Job Overview:

• We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at a busy surgical dermatology practice. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced medical environment.

• Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care in various settings, including surgical consultation, surgical procedures, bandaging, and wound care.
• Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures such as Mohs surgery and excisions.
• Administer medications under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems.
• Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring patient comfort.
• Collaborate with all team members to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

• Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) required.
• Experience working in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in medication administration and outpatient care procedures.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and medical office software.
