Verify patient insurance and demographic information. Coordinate surgical paperwork with physicians, surgery centers, and insurance companies. Review records for accuracy and completeness. Communicate with patients and internal teams throughout the surgical process. Crosstrain to support Surgical Coordinators and front desk operations. Maintain patient confidentiality and provide outstanding customer service. What We're Looking For Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Positive, team-oriented attitude with a patient-first mindset. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Previous medical office or insurance authorization experience is preferred. Ophthalmology experience is a plus but not required.
