The ideal candidate will have strong experience with complex orthopedic spine, neuro, and Level I trauma cases , including high-risk spine, neuro trauma, and craniotomy procedures. Pediatric surgical experience is preferred.

Radius Requirement:

50-mile radius rule applies Required Qualifications Previous Surgical Technologist experience. Level I Trauma Center experience required. Strong experience scrubbing orthopedic spine, neuro, and complex trauma cases . Ability to scrub high-risk spine and neuro trauma procedures . Experience with craniotomy for tumor procedures . Ability to independently anticipate the needs of the surgical team. Pediatric experience preferred. Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program. CST certification required. BLS certification required. Required Certifications CST - Certified Surgical Technologist BLS Key Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures. Scrub surgical procedures while maintaining a sterile field. Support complex orthopedic spine, neuro, and Level I trauma procedures. Scrub high-risk spine and neuro trauma cases. Assist with craniotomy procedures for tumor cases. Anticipate the needs of surgeons during surgical procedures. Perform surgical counts according to established protocols. Maintain sterile technique and follow infection prevention and patient safety standards. Ensure surgical instruments and equipment are properly prepared and available. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, and other members of the surgical team. Maintain a safe and organized operating room environment. Clinical Experience Experience with the following is required: Orthopedic spine Neuro surgery Neuro trauma Complex Level I trauma High-risk spine procedures Craniotomy for tumor procedures Assignment Requirements Level I Trauma experience required Complex spine and neuro experience required CST certification required BLS certification required Pediatric OR experience preferred Weekend coverage required No floating 50-mile radius rule applies Must be available for 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM-7:30
