Days - 4x8-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

Use principles of aseptic practice in varying situations Inspect sterile items for contamination before opening Maintain sterility while opening sterile items for procedure Anticipate the need for supplies and equipment Check supplies for outdates, restock operating room, and order supplies to maintain adequate inventory Pass instruments and other sterile supplies to the surgeon Help apply dressings and prepare/preserve specimens for testing Operate sterilizers and run tests to validate sterilization of surgical instruments

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech / OR Tech Current Surgical Technologist certification required (CST or equivalent) Current BLS certification required (AHA) Active Colorado state license required (must be currently active) Holiday coverage not required Locals are accepted - no radius restriction Our client is a leading Healthcare Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
