Travel Contract Position Overview Thrive Healthcare is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a travel assignment in the Operating Room in Pittsfield, MA. Weekend Requirements:

Weekend coverage and holiday coverage required as needed.

On-Call Requirements:

Participation in the on-call rotation is required. Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of current Certified Surgical Technologist experience . Active NBSTSA certification. NCCT certification is not accepted. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). Must be able to precept and support the training of other staff members. Must have experience in ALL of the following surgical specialties: General Surgery Gynecology (GYN) Vascular Surgery Thoracic Surgery Orthopedics, including total joint procedures Neuro, including head and spine procedures Trauma Surgery Two recent supervisory-signed professional references are required. Must have a reliable personal vehicle. This is a firm requirement. Permanent home address must be included in the candidate profile. Preferred Experience C-sections ENT procedures Plastic surgery DaVinci robotic surgery Meditech Expanse experience (strongly preferred) RN scrub experience Holiday Availability Requirements Travelers may not have all holidays off. Candidates must be available to work two holiday coverage blocks if scheduled or needed .

Required holiday coverage blocks include:

Thanksgiving:

Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after, and the following weekend.

Christmas:

Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend.

New Year's:

New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend. Candidates must be flexible and willing to accommodate the facility's holiday scheduling requirements.
