Surgical Technician- Progressive surgery center is offering an excellent opportunity for a Surgical Tech to join the team and help lead a successful surgery center.

Summary:

Responsible for assisting surgical team during operative procedures such as; Orthopedic, General Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Urology and more. Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for procedures, and passes items as needed to the operating team. Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the operating room. Responsible for the provision of surgical care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse. To assist in the organization and daily function of the operating room in accordance with established federal, state, and Joint Commission regulations and Center policies and procedures. To maintain a high standard of safety for the patient and staff members.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

High School graduate or GED certificate recipient. Successful completion of Surgical Technician program. Current Basic Life Support (BLS). Successful certification as Surgical Technician preferred. Two (2) years' related experience preferred. No "call", weekends or holidays. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits (health, dental, vision, disability, life insurances and 401k matching).
