St. Peter's Health is seeking an experienced Surgical Scrub Technician / Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a 13-week travel assignment. Candidates must have prior travel experience and strong orthopedic and Total Joint surgical experience to support elective and emergent procedures. Key Responsibilities Prepare surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures. Maintain a sterile field and follow infection prevention protocols. Scrub for orthopedic, Total Joint, and orthopedic spine procedures. Support general, GYN, robotic, urology, and ENT surgeries. Assist the surgical team during elective and emergency procedures. Maintain OR readiness and support surgical workflows. Float to other areas as required by the facility. Requirements Minimum 2 years of surgical scrub experience Prior travel assignment experience required Heavy Total Joint and Orthopedic experience required BLS certification required CST certification preferred Epic EMR experience preferred Strong teamwork, organization, and time-management skills Must live more than 200 miles from the facility Schedule Details 10-hour day shifts 40 guaranteed hours per week Call required Floating required Hospital-provided scrubs All requested time off (RTO) and scheduling requests must be included at submission; requests after submission will not be approved.
