In this role, you will work closely with the surgeon and nursing staff, and you will be responsible for maintaining the sterile field, handing surgical instruments efficiently, picking instruments/supplies for cases, and processing surgical instruments (will train). This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in a fast-paced environment while supporting patient safety and surgical excellence. Duties Prepare operating room by ensuring all surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are sterile, organized, and ready for use. Assist surgeon by passing instruments, sutures, and other sterile supplies during procedures with precision and speed. Maintain strict sterile technique throughout all phases of surgery to prevent infection and ensure patient safety. Collect and document data related to surgical procedures, including instrument counts and specimen labeling. Clean and sterilize surgical instruments, as well as OR turnover cleaning and terminal cleaning. Qualifications Valid certification as a Surgical Scrub Technician from an accredited program; current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. At least 5 years' experience as a Surgical Scrub Technician, 2+ years of plastic surgery experience a plus. Please provide a cover letter and 2 references.
