Schedule/Hours:

10-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week One night of on-call duty per week, extending until 7:00 AM the following day (typically a weekday, may occasionally be a weekend) No regular weekend rotation required On-call coverage required for approximately half of major holidays; department operates on holiday eves

Essential Qualifications:

Demonstrated expertise in echocardiography and operation of imaging equipment Previous experience as an Echo Tech in a healthcare facility, with thorough knowledge of cardiac anatomy and sonography protocols Current certification in echocardiography or willingness to provide documentation of eligibility Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to patient-centered care Ability to work independently and communicate findings with the multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality echocardiograms following physician orders and departmental protocols Accurately document imaging procedures and report critical findings Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper function and cleanliness Provide compassionate care and education to patients undergoing studies Fulfill on-call responsibilities as scheduled, responding to urgent or emergent imaging needs Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
