As a traveling Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer, you'll play a critical role in patient care, performing general ultrasound procedures while adapting to the dynamic environment of a new facility. Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality general ultrasound imaging as an integral member of the care team Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and safety Operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal imaging results Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic information Document test results and maintain detailed patient records Adhere to all organizational protocols, as well as federal, state, and local safety regulations
Desired Qualifications:
ARDMS certification (or eligibility), with proof of credentials Minimum of one year of experience in general ultrasound imaging Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility to adapt to new clinical settings and varying workflows Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
