Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Vascular Echo Technologist, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality vascular and cardiac imaging services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize advanced ultrasound techniques to assist in diagnosing and managing vascular and cardiovascular conditions. You will work closely with cardiologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate, timely diagnostic evaluations that improve patient outcomes. Your expertise in vascular ultrasound imaging and cardiac diagnostics will be essential in supporting our commitment to exceptional patient care and innovative medical practices. 4/10 hour shifts with No call and No weekends! Responsibilities Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound examinations, including Doppler studies, to evaluate blood flow and vessel integrity. Conduct echocardiography procedures such as cardiac stress tests, cardiac rhythm analysis, and other diagnostic imaging to assess heart function. Operate advanced medical equipment, including Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), ensuring high-quality image acquisition and storage. Assist in interventional radiology and interventional cardiology procedures by providing real-time imaging support within the cath lab environment. Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during all procedures. Analyze vital signs, physiological data, and medical history to inform accurate diagnostic evaluations. Document findings thoroughly, prepare detailed reports, and communicate results clearly to the healthcare team for effective treatment planning. Qualifications Proven experience performing vascular ultrasound imaging, echocardiography, and cardiac diagnostics in a clinical setting. ARDMS or ARRT (Echocardiogram and Vascular) Knowledge of Cardiac catheterization procedures, interventional radiology, and cath lab operations. Familiarity with telemetry monitoring, cardiac stress testing, and cardiac rhythm analysis. Strong understanding of cardiovascular physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to vascular and cardiac imaging. Proficiency with medical equipment operation, including ultrasound machines and PACS systems. Experience working in Level I or Level II trauma centers or emergency medicine environments is highly desirable. Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining patient safety standards. Pay:
$35.00 - $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
