Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding assignment working in a dynamic healthcare environment supporting patient care through diagnostic imaging. Skilled professionals with experience in general ultrasound are needed to perform sonography procedures, ensuring accurate, high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer (ARRT or equivalent) Proficient in general ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols Previous experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer preferred Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and cross-sectional imaging Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction Ability to maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety standards
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct general ultrasound procedures for patients as ordered by physicians Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring their comfort and privacy Safely operate and maintain ultrasound equipment according to standards Review images for clarity, making adjustments as necessary before submitting to radiologists Accurately document findings and maintain up-to-date records in patient files Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to support patient diagnostics Uphold all department policies and regulatory requirements related to imaging and patient care
