Role Overview As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will specialize in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. Your expertise will aid in the evaluation of pathological entities as prescribed by physicians. This role is crucial in providing accurate and timely imaging to support patient diagnosis and treatment, ensuring the best possible care for our patients. What You Will Do Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to aid in the evaluation of pathological entities as prescribed by a physician. Utilize independent judgment to determine appropriate imaging techniques and patient positioning. Ensure adherence to safety practices and department protocols during all procedures. Maintain required hours of continued medical education to stay current with industry standards. Qualifications What You Will Need Required Qualifications High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or eligible candidate to sit for an ARDMS examination. If eligible candidate, successful completion of SPI, Abdomen, and
OB/GYN ARDMS
examinations required within 12 months of date of hire. Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS). Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a healthcare setting. Familiarity with ultrasound imaging techniques and patient care protocols.
