Job Overview We are seeking a dependable, skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our outpatient cardiovascular practice. We offer a calm, organized office environment equipped with high-end diagnostic tools, dedicated to direct patient care and high diagnostic accuracy. Whether you want 1 day a week for supplemental income, 2-3 consistent days, or per-diem flexibility alongside another role, we will work with you to establish a predictable schedule. For candidates seeking long-term stability, this position can readily expand into a full-time role as volume grows. Equipment & Clinical Environment
    Ultrasound System:
GE Vivid S70 (fully configured for vascular and cardiovascular imaging)
      Reporting & Image Management:
      EchoPAC / ViewPoint workstation integration
        EMR:
Medent for streamlined patient charting, order tracking, and final documentation Why Join Us?
          Modern Equipment:
Scan on an intuitive, premium GE Vivid S70 platform rather than aged hospital-surplus carts.
            True Scheduling Autonomy:
Choose from 1 day per week to multiple recurring clinic days.
              Outpatient Pace:
Zero hospital chaos—no emergency call-ins, floor portables, or rotational weekends.
                Direct Physician Collaboration:
Work closely with an approachable, board-certified physician who respects your clinical findings and technical skill.
                • Zero On-Call:
Weekdays only, no nights, no weekends, no hospital chaos. Key Responsibilities
                • Perform noninvasive vascular duplex ultrasound examinations, primarily:
                • Carotid duplex ultrasound (extracranial cerebrovascular evaluation)
                • Abdominal vascular ultrasound (AAA screening, mesenteric, and renal artery duplex as ordered)
                • Peripheral venous/arterial studies as needed
                • Utilize the GE Vivid S70 and linear transducers to acquire diagnostic images and spectral Doppler tracings.
                • Generate preliminary worksheets and technical summaries using EchoPAC / ViewPoint and upload findings into Medent.
                • Maintain ultrasound equipment, practice standard probe cleaning and disinfection protocols, and adhere to ICAL / outpatient clinical imaging standards. Qualifications
                Credentials:
Active RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) preferred; registry-eligible sonographers or experienced diagnostic sonographers (RDMS) with demonstrated vascular competence are welcome to apply.
                  Education:
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program.
                    Technical Experience:
Hands-on proficiency with GE Vivid ultrasound systems (Vivid
                    S70 / E90 / E95
) and digital reporting (EchoPAC/ViewPoint) is a strong plus.
                      EMR Familiarity:
Experience with Medent (or equivalent outpatient EMR systems) is advantageous, though easy to learn on-site.
                      • Independent, reliable, and patient-focused.
How to Apply If you value clinical independence, top-tier equipment, and a flexible schedule, submit your resume with your preferred weekly availability (specific days or hours per week).
