Rate of pay: $25 per hour
Part-time, hourly position Key Responsibilities
Perform prenatal ultrasound exams in accordance with clinic policies, professional standards, and applicable laws and regulations.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment safely and appropriately.
Provide respectful, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive care to patients.
Explain the ultrasound process to patients within the scope of practice.
Document exam information accurately and maintain appropriate patient confidentiality.
Communicate relevant findings and concerns to the appropriate clinical supervisor or medical provider.
Support the mission and values of the nonprofit prenatal clinic.
We use GE Voluson P8 machine Qualifications
Current registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, with OB/GYN sonography experience or certification.
Experience performing limited, early dating prenatal or obstetric ultrasound exams.
Strong commitment to patient dignity, privacy, and compassionate care.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small clinic environment.
Reliable, professional, and supportive of the clinic's nonprofit mission.
Current CPR/BLS certification is preferred.
Work Environment This position is based in a nonprofit prenatal clinic and involves direct interaction with patients seeking prenatal services. The sonographer should be comfortable working in a mission-driven, service-oriented environment with a focus on professionalism, confidentiality, and compassionate care.
