This part-time role supports patient-centered prenatal care by performing ultrasound exams in a safe, respectful, and professional manner. Schedule and Compensation
  • Approximately 2-4 hours per week

  • Rate of pay: $25 per hour
  • Part-time, hourly position Key Responsibilities
  • Perform prenatal ultrasound exams in accordance with clinic policies, professional standards, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment safely and appropriately.
  • Provide respectful, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive care to patients.
  • Explain the ultrasound process to patients within the scope of practice.
  • Document exam information accurately and maintain appropriate patient confidentiality.
  • Communicate relevant findings and concerns to the appropriate clinical supervisor or medical provider.
  • Support the mission and values of the nonprofit prenatal clinic.
  • We use GE Voluson P8 machine Qualifications
  • Current registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, with OB/GYN sonography experience or certification.
  • Experience performing limited, early dating prenatal or obstetric ultrasound exams.
  • Strong commitment to patient dignity, privacy, and compassionate care.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small clinic environment.
  • Reliable, professional, and supportive of the clinic's nonprofit mission.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification is preferred.
Work Environment This position is based in a nonprofit prenatal clinic and involves direct interaction with patients seeking prenatal services. The sonographer should be comfortable working in a mission-driven, service-oriented environment with a focus on professionalism, confidentiality, and compassionate care.
