Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Advance your career by utilizing your expertise in general ultrasound in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and is tailored for professionals who excel in diagnostic imaging and patient care.
Schedule:
Four 10-hour night shifts per week Monday through Thursday, 7:30pm to 6:00am
Qualifications:
Current certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Proficient in a range of general ultrasound imaging procedures Experience as an ultrasound technologist or sonographer in a clinical or hospital setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of general ultrasound examinations with precision and attention to patient safety Review, assess, and document diagnostic images, ensuring technical quality and accurate identification of anatomical and pathological findings Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring clinicians to optimize patient care plans Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring functionality and adherence to infection control protocols Offer compassionate patient support, explaining procedures to minimize anxiety and improve cooperation Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to timely reporting processes
