Job Description

Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Echo Tech to provide essential imaging services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract position spans 13 weeks and is ideal for professionals who are passionate about patient care and cardiac diagnostics.
Schedule:
5x8 hour day shifts Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm
Qualifications:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Registered with ARDMS or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) Demonstrated experience as an Echo Tech, with competency in echocardiography imaging Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality echocardiograms in accordance with physician orders and accepted protocols Analyze imaging results, recognize abnormalities, and prepare preliminary reports for physician review Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring all diagnostic tools are in optimal condition Provide clear explanations and support to patients, addressing any concerns during procedures Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate record-keeping in compliance with policy and regulations Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery
