Job Description

Purpose:

This position is eligible for a Sign-On Bonus of up to $10,000 with a 2-year commitment
Responsibilities:
Explain procedures and provide clear patient instructions to ensure comfort, understanding, and cooperation throughout the exam. Verify patient identity, review medical history, and assess physician orders to ensure accurate and appropriate testing. Document patient information and clinical findings accurately within the electronic medical record. Operate ultrasound equipment and apply advanced scanning techniques to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Perform transthoracic, transesophageal, stress, contrast, and bubble echocardiography studies in accordance with established protocols. Obtain and analyze M-Mode, 2D, Doppler, and Color Flow Doppler images while adhering to industry standards. Ensure exams are completed efficiently, properly coded, documented, and processed for storage and billing. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support exceptional patient care. Assist physicians with invasive procedures and maintain compliance with universal protocol and safety standards. Independently manage assigned responsibilities, including off-shift, on-call, and satellite facility coverage as needed.
Schedule:
This position will work rotating days Sunday-Saturday. The shifts will be between 2-4, 8-hour shifts (7AM-3:30PM, 7:45AM-4:15PM, 9:30AM-6PM). This position requires you to work on-call for nights and holidays. May be subject to work other days/shifts based on hospital needs.
