Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Elevate your career in diagnostic imaging by providing critical echocardiography services in a specialized healthcare environment. Your expertise in echo technology will support accurate patient diagnosis and care, collaborating with skilled medical professionals dedicated to excellence in cardiovascular health.
Qualifications:
Registered or registry-eligible Echo Technologist Demonstrated proficiency in performing echocardiograms and interpreting results Current certification in Cardiac Sonography preferred Strong attention to detail and image quality Familiarity with sonography equipment, imaging protocols, and safety standards Ability to communicate clearly with patients and healthcare teams BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Responsibilities:
Conduct echocardiographic exams, including two-dimensional, M-Mode, and Doppler imaging, as ordered by physicians Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to ensure comfort and cooperation Optimize imaging equipment settings to obtain high-quality diagnostic images Collaborate with cardiologists and other clinicians to assist in patient evaluation Accurately document all procedures, findings, and maintain organized patient records Monitor equipment functionality, performing routine maintenance as needed Adhere to infection control, confidentiality, and safety requirements in all aspects of work This contract opportunity allows you to apply your specialized skills in an engaging clinical setting, supporting patient care while gaining valuable professional experience. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
