Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic healthcare setting and deliver exceptional cardiac imaging services as a skilled Echo Tech. In this pivotal contract role, you will utilize your expertise in echocardiography to produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images that inform critical clinical decisions. Qualifications & Experience:
Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required Proven experience performing adult echocardiograms in a clinical or hospital environment Proficiency with imaging equipment and digital archiving systems In-depth knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for transthoracic and, as applicable, transesophageal echocardiograms Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation Record patient medical histories and document findings with clarity and accuracy Communicate procedural details and address patient concerns with professionalism and care Monitor equipment functionality and ensure adherence to infection control protocols Collaborate closely with cardiologists and nursing staff to communicate urgent findings Maintain accurate records and compliance with regulatory requirements Take advantage of the opportunity to hone your skills and make a genuine impact on patient outcomes. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
