Eligibility for benefits may vary by location and is determined by employment status Job Summary Performs and monitors echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures. Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians. Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram. Responsibilities Demonstrates the knowledge and ability to care for age specific needs of the population served as measured by completion of mandatory training and direct observation by supervisor, Performs EKG's Demonstrates ability to file patient reports, and assist physicians with HIS system May supervise/precept students, volunteers, or new employees. Performs related duties as required.
Qualifications Required Education:
Graduate of accredited
Diagnostic Medical Sonography School Experience:
6 months in clinical setting
License/Certification:
Registry eligible BLS.
