Ultrasound Technician Lubbock, TX Overview:
Our practice in Lubbock is seeking an Ultrasound Technician to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, physical screenings, and brain scans. New graduates and experienced technicians are both encouraged to apply.
Position Offers:
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM, with a 1-hour lunch between 12-1 Competitive pay: $34-40 per hour (DOE) Potential to earn an additional $200 per week based on productivity goals Health, dental, and vision insurance Opportunity for growth
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, physical screenings, and brain scans per physician orders and established protocols Guide patients through each screening while positioning them for comfort and safety Optimize image quality by adjusting machine settings and selecting appropriate transducers and techniques Operate and perform basic maintenance checks on ultrasound equipment, reporting issues promptly Recognize, document, and communicate abnormal findings to physicians in a timely manner Accurately enter and update patient information and exam data in the EHR Adhere to safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to coordinate patient care and exam scheduling
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Ultrasound Technology program Bilingual in
