1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Sonographer for an evening shift ultrasound position requiring ARDMS Vascular certification plus either General or OBGYN certification and at least one year of recent experience. Details Ultrasound department within a small hospital setting (2 beds) with portable exams performed throughout the facility Patient population includes OB and General ultrasound cases 1:1 patient ratio Performs carotid arteriogram, general ultrasound exams, vascular iliac vein duplex, vascular lower extremity studies, and venous insufficiency studies Uses Philips ultrasound equipment (experience preferred)

used Schedule is Sunday-Thursday 7hr evening shifts, 4:30pm-12:00am, 35 hours per week Call required 1-2 nights per week with a 1:6 weekend call rotation and 45 minute response time No weekend rotation outside of call No floating required Requirements BLS certification required ARDMS

• Vascular certification required ARDMS
• General or ARDMS
• OBGYN certification required License required if applicable Minimum of 12 months core experience in unit specialty area, with most recent experience within the last year Experience with OB and General ultrasound exams required

EPIC EMR

experience required Professional reference dated within one year required from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN Additional Information Works alongside other sonographers and a supervisor, with additional support available from Southern Lakes Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis (every other holiday), covered via call Scrubs of any color permitted Free parking available Travelers with at least 1 year of experience will be considered First-time travelers will not be considered Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no radius restrictions Former employees of the health system or its subsidiaries must be separated for at least 12 months before being eligible for travel assignments
