Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced ultrasound professional in a dedicated outpatient office setting. The schedule offers consistent hours—Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm—without weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts, supporting work-life balance.
Qualifications and Desired Skills:
Active BLS (AHA) certification Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer OB/GYN (RDMS-OB/GYN) via ARDMS; obstetrics and gynecology specialty preferred Strong proficiency in OB/GYN ultrasound, including nuchal translucency Maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) experience is highly valued Confident working independently Experience performing BPPs, growth scans, and dating studies Familiarity with EPIC and Viewpoint systems Prior experience with GE ultrasound equipment is helpful Ability to meet the department's daily volume of 8-10 scans Experience level negotiable if you demonstrate proficiency in MFM-required scans
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform general and OB/GYN ultrasounds, focusing on BPP, growth, and dating studies Manage scan workflow using department protocols and guidance from the clinic manager and MFM team Work exclusively in a two-scanner office; no rotation to other areas required Complete studies efficiently and accurately within a team-oriented departmental structure Participate in orientation with a full-time tech to ensure seamless onboarding
