GoodVets is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to guide medical excellence in our modern, locally owned animal hospital. You will provide high-quality medical, surgical, and diagnostic care while leading, mentoring, and developing a collaborative veterinary team. With advanced technology, strong support staff, and clinical autonomy, you'll shape hospital standards, elevate the client and pet experience, and help grow a pet-centered, hospitality-driven practice. Responsibilities Lead delivery of high-quality medical, surgical, and diagnostic veterinary care for companion animals Supervise, mentor, and develop associate veterinarians and clinical support staff Shape clinical protocols, standards of care, and hospital workflows in partnership with leadership Foster a collaborative, pet-centered culture focused on client education and communication Oversee accurate medical records, charting, and adherence to regulatory and ethical standards Collaborate with hospital leadership on scheduling, staffing, and operational decisions Engage with pet owners to build long-term relationships and guide treatment decisions Support implementation and effective use of advanced medical technology and diagnostic tools Required Skills Small animal medicine Veterinary surgery Diagnostic imaging interpretation Anesthesia and pain management Dentistry and oral surgery basics Electronic medical records (EMR) Clinical leadership and team supervision Client communication and education Practice operations awareness Regulatory and medical compliance
