After-School Site Coordinator — Keiki Coders & Athletes Keiki Coders Honolulu, HI Job Details Part-time From $24 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Travel reimbursement Flexible schedule Qualifications Experience working with children Driving Child supervision Facebook Instagram Full Job Description Part-time • Flexible schedule • Oahu-wide Keiki Coders & Keiki Athletes run after-school coding, STEAM, and multi-sport/dance programs at schools and parks across Oahu, from Honolulu and East Honolulu to Ewa, Central, Windward, and the North Shore. We've taught over 1,500 students. We're hiring a Site Coordinator to keep our programs running smoothly across sites, jump in to sub when needed, and help capture what's happening on the ground. This is a great fit for someone who wants flexible afternoon hours, is reliable and organized, works well with kids and school staff, and doesn't mind driving between sites. Schedule 10-20 hrs/week, flexible. We build your schedule around your availability and go over specifics with you. On-site coverage happens Mon-Fri, 2:00-5:30 pm (Wednesdays from 1:30 pm), so afternoon availability is key. Marketing and admin work can be done remotely on your own time. What you'll do On-site program support (~75%) Be on-site at assigned schools each afternoon (about 2-2.5 hrs/day) as on-call support. Step in as a substitute teacher when a class needs coverage. This takes priority when it comes up.
Manage program equipment and supplies:
organize and track inventory in our storage, and purchase materials as needed (Amazon, Walmart, etc.). Marketing & ops support (~20%) Capture photos and short videos across sites for our social media.
Help with light admin:
parent/teacher reminders, basic flyers, coordination. Site management (~5%) Be a professional, friendly point of contact with school principals, after-school directors, and teachers. Spot issues on the ground and flag them to our operations team quickly. What we're looking for Strong weekday afternoon availability and reliability. This is the #1 requirement. Comfortable and professional around elementary-age kids and school staff. Organized, proactive, and able to work independently across multiple sites. Comfortable taking photos and short videos on-site. Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between our program sites across Oahu and move curriculum and equipment place to place. Must pass a background check and any clearances required by our school partners. No teaching experience required. We train you.
A plus:
social media experience (creating posts, familiarity with Instagram/Facebook). Pay & perks $24/hr for coordinator work. $50/hr when you're substitute teaching a class. Mileage reimbursed for travel between sites and supply runs.
