Competitive and based on experience Position Overview Precision Pitching is seeking a knowledgeable, energetic, and dependable Baseball Pitching Coach to join our coaching team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with athletes, values continued learning, and wants to help pitchers improve their mechanics, arm health, confidence, and overall performance. Our coaches work with youth, high school, college, and professional athletes through individualized training, small-group sessions, bullpen development, arm-care programming, and performance assessments. Precision Pitching is a development program—not simply a place for pitching lessons. We are looking for a coach who is willing to learn our systems, follow individualized athlete plans, and provide a consistent experience for every athlete and family. Primary Responsibilities Coach individual and small-group pitching development sessions. Teach age-appropriate pitching mechanics, movement patterns, and throwing progressions. Lead athletes through warm-ups, arm-care routines, mechanical drills, catch play, mound preparation, bullpens, and recovery work. Follow programming and athlete plans created by Precision Pitching. Provide clear, positive, and age-appropriate instruction. Monitor athlete workload, throwing intensity, soreness, and overall readiness. Help athletes develop command, pitch execution, routines, confidence, and a competitive mindset. Record athlete notes, training results, and relevant progress following sessions. Communicate professionally with athletes, parents, and other Precision Pitching coaches. Maintain a safe, organized, and positive training environment. Assist with facility setup, equipment organization, and other daily responsibilities. Continue learning Precision Pitching's coaching methods, technology, terminology, and athlete-development system. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience playing or coaching baseball. College or professional playing experience is preferred but not required. Experience coaching pitchers at the youth, high school, college, or professional level. Strong understanding of pitching mechanics, arm care, throwing development, and workload management. Ability to communicate effectively with athletes of different ages and experience levels. Comfortable coaching both private and small-group sessions. Dependable, organized, coachable, and willing to follow established programming. Positive attitude and a genuine interest in helping athletes develop. Willingness to learn and use video, athlete-management, and performance-testing technology. CPR, First Aid, strength and conditioning, or baseball coaching certifications are beneficial but not required. What We Are Looking For The right candidate does not need to know everything on day one. We are looking for someone who: Connects well with athletes and families. Brings energy and professionalism to every session. Understands that every athlete requires an individualized approach. Can provide instruction without overwhelming younger athletes. Values long-term athlete development and arm health. Is receptive to feedback and willing to learn our coaching system. Is reliable and available during high-demand training hours. Wants to grow as a coach and become an important part of our team. About Precision Pitching Precision Pitching is a baseball development program located in Red Wing, Minnesota. We provide science-based, individualized training designed to help pitchers improve their mechanics, velocity, command, arm care, and overall performance. We work with athletes ranging from youth players to college and professional pitchers. Our mission is to provide every athlete with a clear development plan and the tools, education, and support needed to reach their potential. Physical and Scheduling Requirements Ability to stand, move, demonstrate drills, and coach for extended periods. Ability to lift and move training equipment when needed. Availability during afternoons and evenings is strongly preferred. Some weekend availability may be required. Reliable transportation to our Red Wing facility is required. How to Apply Please submit your resume through Indeed along with a brief statement explaining: Your baseball playing and coaching background. The age groups or levels you have coached. Why you are interested in joining Precision Pitching. Your general weekly availability.
