Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a customer-oriented and energetic Golf Shop Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our golf facility, responsible for welcoming members and guests, managing tee time reservations, and ensuring an exceptional experience from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate has a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and a basic understanding of the game of golf.
Starting Pay:
$12/
Hour Core Responsibilities Customer Service:
Greet guests warmly, answer telephone inquiries, and provide detailed information regarding course playing conditions, club policies, and upcoming tournaments.
Tee Time Management:
Schedule, organize, and manage daily player tee times and lessons using our Point of Sale (POS) software.
Retail Operations:
Assist customers with merchandise selections, maintain an organized and visually appealing shop layout, and assist with inventory restocking.
Financial Transactions:
Process payments accurately for green fees, cart rentals, food/beverage items, and merchandise using the electronic cash register. Open and close the register daily.
Facility Support:
Coordinate with outside operations staff to track player names, monitor the pace of play, and ensure the golf cart fleet is clean and properly staged.
Opening & Closing:
Execute physical opening and closing procedures, including securing building access and setting alarms.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in retail sales, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
Golf Knowledge:
Basic familiarity with golf terminology, rules, and etiquette is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with basic computer programs and electronic POS/cash register software.
Availability:
Must be able to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Pay:
From $12.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 18.0 per week
