Job Summary:

As a Baker at Main Street Market, you'll be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods from scratch. You'll play a key role in maintaining the high quality and consistency our customers have come to expect, while contributing to a positive, team-oriented kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, muffins, cookies, and other baked items daily Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency and quality Monitor oven temperatures and baking times Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area and equipment Ensure all ingredients and products are properly labeled and stored Assist in inventory tracking and restocking baking supplies as needed Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team Occasionally assist with custom or seasonal orders

Qualifications:

Previous baking experience preferred Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards Ability to follow recipes and multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and time management skills Willingness to work early morning hours, weekends, and holidays as needed Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
