About Rock Springs Cafe Rock Springs Cafe is an Arizona landmark and one of the state's most beloved dining destinations, welcoming guests for generations at our iconic I-17 property. We're more than a restaurant. We're a full destination experience featuring a scratch-kitchen cafe, artisan pie bakery, pie box window, retail shops, and gas station, serving hundreds of guests daily from across the Valley and beyond. Our pies are famous, our hospitality is genuine, and our team is the reason guests keep coming back. If you're looking for a place where your work truly matters and you can be part of something with real roots and real momentum, Rock Springs is it. What You'll Do Bake our fruit pies, cream pies, pastries, and baked goods from scratch, following our recipes and the daily bake sheet Prep fillings, doughs, and shells, run the ovens, and finish product for the case and for orders Count product at the end of your shift so the next day's bake sheet is right Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation (FIFO) Maintain a clean and organized station throughout your shift; label and date everything Follow all food safety and sanitation standards Bring ideas. We encourage our bakers to suggest new pies, pastries, and seasonal specials, and we're always looking for new inspiration and new twists on old recipes Shifts Three shifts: 3:00 am to 10:00 am, 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, and 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Weekends and holidays are our busiest days, so weekend availability is a must. What You Bring Baking or kitchen experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right person Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Early morning availability (our first shift starts at 3 am) Reliable transportation (we're a highway stop, not on a bus line) Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain)
