Job Description

We're a busy café on Cannery Row looking for a dependable early riser to support our morning bake and pastry case. What you'll do Morning bake-off: tray up, egg wash, time, finish (icing, glaze, powdered sugar) Prep and assemble sandwiches and grab-and-go items Pantry basics: portion, wrap, date, rotate, keep coolers and dry storage organized What we're looking for Some café, bakery, or kitchen experience — you know what egg wash is for, how to finish a pastry, and what "done" looks like in the oven Comfortable with convection ovens and following a checklist Reliable at 6 AM, every scheduled shift Clean, organized, and quick during the morning rush California Food Handler card (or willing to get one within 30 days) Weekend availability Why here Cannery Row foot traffic, a small tight crew, steady morning hours. Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
