Base pay $18.00 plus tip share Benedetto Gelato, a high end artisanal gelato shop in Riverside, CA, is looking for a Pastry & Gelato Maker to own our daily production! Benedetto Gelato makes fresh Italian-Argentinian gelato in house every day, from the original recipes of award-winning Maestro Gelatiere Maxi Macarrone. This is a hands-on production role for someone who loves the craft: you will be trained directly on our recipes and methods, and your work will be what our guests taste every single day. Responsibilities Produce our gelato daily following house recipes with precision and consistency Prepare pastry items: cookies, waffle cones, toppings, and fillings Plan daily batches according to production needs and weekend volume Label, date, and rotate all product; maintain proper storage at all times Keep the kitchen clean and organized to the highest food safety standards Track ingredient inventory and communicate restocking needs Qualifications 2+ years of experience in pastry, baking, or ice cream/gelato production (required) Ability to follow recipes exactly and work independently with attention to detail Early morning availability (shifts typically start 7:30 AM) California Food Handler Card Able to stand for full shifts and lift up to 50 lbs Passion for the craft and pride in consistency
