Job Summary We are looking for a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. You will help prepare high-quality baked goods while maintaining excellent standards for flavor, presentation, cleanliness, and food safety. You will work closely with the owner, so teamwork, communication, and a positive attitude are essential. Duties Prepare a variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other confections following established recipes and standards Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, dough sheeters, and decorating tools efficiently and safely Decorate cakes and pastries with precision using cake decorating techniques to create visually appealing products Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing work surfaces, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety guidelines Assist in food preparation tasks such as dough preparation, pastry assembly, and ingredient measurement using basic math skills Follow food handling procedures diligently to ensure safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times Support high-volume production needs by managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining consistency in quality Adhere strictly to recipes and production schedules to ensure timely delivery of baked goods for retail or catering services Experience Previous experience in baking or pastry preparation within a commercial food industry setting is highly preferred Familiarity with food safety management practices and maintaining a clean kitchen environment is essential Hands-on experience operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, dough sheeters, and decorating tools Knowledge of food industry standards related to food handling, storage, and sanitation practices High-volume production experience that showcases efficiency under pressure Culinary experience that includes food preparation techniques relevant to baked goods production

Pay:

$19.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 4.0 - 30.0 per week
