Role Description This is a part-time (20-30 hours/week) on-site role for an Assistant Baker at the St. Vrain Market, Deli & Bakery in Lyons, CO. The Assistant Baker will work closely with the Head Baker to produce fresh breads, pastries, and baked goods daily.

Responsibilities include:

Assist with daily production of breads, pastries, and other bakery items Follow recipes and production schedules to maintain consistency and quality Prepare and scale ingredients, mix doughs and batters, and monitor baking processes Help manage bakery inventory and supplies Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Support the development of seasonal and specialty products Work early morning shifts to meet production needs Qualifications Prior baking or food production experience preferred (artisan bread or pastry a plus) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings What We Offer Competitive hourly pay, commensurate with experience Optional health insurance and 401(k) Employee discount on market, deli, and bakery items Hands-on experience with artisan baking and opportunities to grow skills A supportive, tight-knit, mission-driven team in the heart of
