The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in culinary arts and a commitment to food safety standards. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, ensuring high-quality products that exceed customer expectations. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a wide range of products including bread, pastries, danish, muffins, cakes, and cookies. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality in all baked goods. Decorate cakes and pastries according to customer specifications or creative designs. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients; assist with ordering as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or culinary field is required. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Experience in cake decorating is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent time management skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings or weekends as required.
