Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, proofers, and dough sheeters. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation standards throughout all stages of food preparation. Package baked items carefully for retail display or catering orders, ensuring freshness and presentation quality. Assist in food production processes for high-volume output while maintaining consistency in taste and appearance. Follow recipes accurately, manage ingredient quantities with basic math skills, and ensure adherence to food safety management practices at all times. Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, baking, pastry preparation, and cake decorating. Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and dough preparation techniques. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a high-volume production environment. Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and shaping of baked goods. Familiarity with food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations. Exceptional customer service skills when interacting with clients or team members. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory levels effectively. Previous experience in the food industry or catering environment is highly desirable.
