Job Description
About the role We're looking for an experienced Donut Decorator to join our team at DG Doughnuts in Ocoee. You'll be responsible for producing consistent, high-quality decorated donuts that match our standards and brand style, while also having the opportunity for creative input on specials and custom work. Key responsibilities
- Decorate donuts according to established recipes, designs, and quality standards
- Prepare icings, glazes, toppings, and fillings
- Handle custom orders with attention to detail and the ability to adapt or pivot as needs change
- Manage your time effectively while working mostly independently
- Clean up after yourself and maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work space throughout the shift
- Follow food safety and handling procedures
- Assist with production volume as needed during peak times
- Help maintain inventory of decorating supplies
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams as needed Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience decorating donuts, pastries, or similar baked goods
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Good time management skills, especially when working mostly solo
- Comfortable adapting and pivoting when priorities or custom requests change
- Takes ownership of keeping your work area clean
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Comfortable standing for long periods and working with icing, sprinkles, and toppings
- Reliable and able to work a flexible schedule Nice to have
- Experience in a high-volume bakery or café
- Familiarity with custom or specialty donut decoration
- Food handler or ServSafe certification
- Interest in contributing creative ideas for decorations or limited-time offerings What we offer
